Primate Olukayode Adelugba is a servant of God who God has been using for a very long time to liberate men and women from the shackles of enemies through his prophetic grace. He has predicted a lot of things regarding this nation and many individuals that came to pass.
Among what he said before the last election was the emergence of President Tinubu despite all odds against the man in the Aso-Rock now. He predicted then that President Tinubu would emerge as the winner of this 2023 election and said that the sickness or whatsoever people are concerned about would not stop him.
Yes, they saw it! They are very good seers, they saw well but what they saw is different from what God is about to do;
In this interview with Golden Heritage Newspaper, Primate Adelugba speaks regarding the current situation of the nation and expectations. Excerpt;
What can you say about the situation of this nation at this moment sir?
Firstly, we need to thank God for the new building, a new plan that God has worked on in the nation, and all that we need to do now is to have patience for God to accomplish His plan because He had something good for us. You can’t build a house a day and start using it that day, you will have to start with the foundation first.
So, the foundation of this regime is okay and I believe we can be patient. Six months to this time, we will start praising President Ahmed Tinubu for what God will use him to do for us.
OKAY SIR, LET’S HAVE YOUR TAKE ON TINUBU HIMSELF. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY REGARDING HIM? THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS THAT SURROUND HIM AS A PERSON; WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT HIS HEALTH OR WHAT HAS GOD REVEALED TO YOU ABOUT HIM?
Firstly, Tinubu has been ordained for this position at this present time. God has shown me the message for the past six or seven years ago and I kept on telling people about the message that Tinubu will be our president in the future.
There was a time we had a meeting with our mother, I am talking about the wife of Baba Awolowo, when the Yoruba were with him for a discussion. During that period I tried to fish out some areas where Tinubu can never be Aare Onakakanfo, I said what God has for Tinubu is Aare of Nigeria (president of Nigeria). Then when it now came to pass, I’m not surprised because the message was revealed already.
When people started saying all sorts of things about Tinubu, I was just looking at them and the reason some of them are making mistake is because of where they belonged;
When you belong to a circle, you try to defend such a circle. you will be looking for the goodness of that circle so that is why they are making mistakes about their messages. They did not know what God gave for us and that is why I said in my message early last year that God said we should be praying that His will should be done in Nigeria.
Unfortunately, before we pray, we say this is what we want and we pray towards it, No! Instead, you should pray to God that whatever He wants is what we will follow and that is exactly what. But where they are going is different from where God is going.
I have said it already that Tinubu is an ordained president of Nigeria;
There are so many prophets that have visions about Nigeria. Some are saying there would be war, some said Tinubu will not be the president, and some said Atiku will emerge as the president. Yes, they saw it! They are very good seers, they saw well but what they saw is different from what God is about to do;
God kept Tinubu’s presidency issue so that they will not understand where God is going because if they understand Him, they won’t allow it to happen.
That’s why some of them are relaxed that Tinubu will not enter but God is working underneath to perfect His work. The fact that Tinubu is not heal and all of that is not what God is using and He knows whom he wants to use for that president at the moment.
So, for him to become president is not new to me, If you watch my message through my Facebook, you will see everything has been repeated for almost three or four years ago.
He’s the right choice for Nigeria presently.
SOME OF THE PROPHETS PROPHESIED REGARDING THE ELECTION BECAUSE IT HAS REALLY BROUGHT A LOT OF ISSUES IN THE CHRISTENDOM. IN YOUR OPINION YOU SAID, THEY HAVE SEEN BUT GOD HID IT FROM THEM SO THAT THE EMERGENCE OF TINUBU WILL BE POSSIBLE. SO WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT MEN OF GOD OUT THERE SIR?
When Jesus Christ was born, there are three people called the wise men that saw the message, they couldn’t hide it. They went straight to the king not knowing the king will be jealous of what they saw. So, God doesn’t want it to be that way; that’s why he hid it from them. They saw well, they walk with God and God knows them but because of what God has in mind to do that’s why those things that happened, happened. It is not that they did not see it. With the look of things, if you see what’s happening to Tinubu or his attitude, you will say he is not the type of person God wants to use. But God doesn’t work that way. They are very good Seers but where God is going is different from where they are looking at.
BUT SINCE THE ISSUE IS STILL AT THE TRIBUNAL, DON’T YOU THINK THAT HIS PRESIDENCY CAN BE UNTURNED? MAYBE AT THE END OF THE DAY, HE MIGHT BE REPLACED.
Well, I believe He wants him, whatever God decides to do nobody can change it. I have said it already that Tinubu is an ordained president of Nigeria; somebody who can carry the load in his head, it’s not a small boy’s load, it is not because he is educated or knows much about politics. He has been ordained for it. When someone is ordained for a particular assignment, it’s different from someone that likes to be part of the assignment. So, those people that are going to court, I can only plead with them because a time Is coming when people will change their minds saying that Tinubu you are saying is not good is the one doing several things and we are satisfied with him; that time is coming very soon. Before six months, we will see the difference. What will happen during that period will bring out the answer to those people going to court.
THE FIRST THING THAT TINUBU DID WAS REMOVEVAL OF THE SUBSIDY, THAT IS REGARDING, SO WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT THAT SIR?
It is a very good initiative but the problem we have with people is we need people that will educate them. Some don’t know the meaning of subsidy; we need people who can enlighten them on why we are not to go to neighboring countries again, and this is why we are removing subsidies. Nobody likes to suffer but if you want to help me, let me know how you are helping me and the reason for helping me because there are some people that follow rumors. What people are saying is what they are following but later when the difference is clear, they will know that this man is the Messiah of our time.
God has much interest in Nigeria, He is monitoring Nigeria’s situation at all times and that’s why when people say Nigeria will break, I tell them that they do not know the mind of God
WHAT CAN YOU SAY IS OUR HOPE IN THE FUTURE OF THIS NATION, ESPECIALLY THE YOUTH?
The only area where I am seeing joy is we have the right president, the person that knows the problem Nigeria is facing and the solution to that problem. There is no work in the town, the schools are not moving well, everything is scarce and very difficult to achieve but somebody is coming to rearrange it. When everything is balanced, all these guys doing what is wrong will come down and reason with their senses. If you don’t know how to get food when hungry, you eat anything you see but when there’s no means of getting it, you work towards it and get the correct food. What is happening presently isn’t because of the situation and if it’s the reason many vision is coming out but a time is coming when God will take control, everything will be balanced and he has sent whom he will send. So let us wait and see the difference.
ARE YOU SAYING THAT TINUBU IS THE MESSIAH?

BUT TINUBU IS A HUMAN BEING.
We are all human being but the spirit of God dwell in us, speak for us, working with us, directing us the Bible says “Those who the spirit of God leadeth are the son of God”. So I believe him. Forget he is a Muslim. Being a Muslim has nothing to do with it. It is just a name given to a society but we are talking about the ordained of God for a task; someone God will use.
If you read the story of David, he was born for a purpose and before that purpose was accomplished, something must have happened, and that’s what is happening in the life of TINUBU.
WITH THE TREND IN NIGERIA, DO YOU THINK NIGERIA WILL REMAIN INTACT?
By the grace of God, nothing will go wrong. God has much interest in Nigeria, He is monitoring Nigeria’s situation at all times and that’s why when people say Nigeria will break, I tell them that they do not know the mind of God. The area they are looking at is different because to be a man you will face many things, it is only your achievement that people want to see they don’t want to know how you get into it.
The foundation already cracks and we need what can rebuild it and that’s what we are doing now. And Tinubu is the sent one. There is confusion about Christians and Muslims and the reason is some of our Christian people believe they are the ‘holy ones.’ They believe they are the only sons of God. They never knew that God created everyone for a purpose and when purpose is about to be accomplished, he uses anyone.
FINALLY, WHAT IS YOUR WORD OF ADVICE TO THE MASSES?
My advice for them is to be patient, things will be better, and they should see clearly that another new Nigeria is coming. By then everyone will be praising Tinubu but the area of concern to me is that I want to beg Tinubu not to revenge. He should forget those giving him negative messages. The messages they are giving him are from God for him to tie his girdle for that assignment and not to look back. They are part of what makes him the president because if they don’t push him, he will not run!
