Founder marks 40th birthday in grand style with Evang. Tope Alabi and Omega Pro
The Divine mandate in the heart of Olusola EbunOluwa Bamidele to combat the pervasiveness, and decadence in the upbringing of young children in society was so high and becoming burdensome hence the launch of De Light Of Christ Rescue Home, a Non-governmental Organization on the first day of the year 2023 at sky restaurant Eko Hotel and suites Victoria Island, Lagos where prominent personalities were in attendance for a hope-rejuvenated event.

The Founder, EbunOluwa Olusola while speaking on how the vision came said; “the inspiration for the foundation came in the year 2015 on a Monday morning when I was going about my usual early morning evangelism. One would expect that children will be in school on a Monday morning during the school session but I noticed that a lot of children were roaming the streets of the Igando area of Lagos State where I lived then. I got inquisitive and was interested to know why they were not in school; to my surprise, I got realized that the majority of the children had been sent out of school for over a year because their parents could not pay their school fees.

The urge to right the wrong immediately arose in me, and I was inspired to do something about it, and since that day, it has been strongly impressed on my mind to work on how every child interested in schooling will have the opportunity to do so.
Through the help of God, I have some charity work in this regard; it was done at a small scale, but then, the need to rescale up for greater impact birthed the establishment of De Light of Christ Rescue Home.” she said.
Going by the mandate and proposal of the NGO, it is obvious that De light of Christ Rescue Home is focused on quality education, shelter, feeding and family love, and moral, social, and spiritual development of intending beneficiaries.

In the same vein, the 40th birthday of the founder was celebrated in-ground style to launch the NGO, but the burdens to rescue homeless and out-of-school children overshadowed the birthday celebration as little was said about the birthday other than yearning or the less privileged to become rescued in Nigeria.

Ministering at the event was pastor Tope Adeniyi, who charged the participants to live their lives on purpose and not for pleasure. He added that men and women who live for a purpose will be remembered even after they die and people who die without purpose will not be remembered after their death as he encouraged everyone to live on purpose so that they can eternally be with the Lord on the last day.
He added that it is also in the interest of God to give to the poor but it must be done unannounced or without expectation of a return.

He, therefore, encouraged the celebrant to keep up the good work as he prayed for them for more Grace to finish strong.
Consequently, some of the top leaders from Omega pro show their interest and concern for the assignment in the hand of the founder of the NGO.
The chairman of the launching, Mr. Tomiwa Orunipin expressed his profound joy at the initiative praying and encouraging his colleagues to be ready to support the project.

The members of OmegpPro however made commitments towards the foundation and promised to be in constant touch with the development and growth of the foundation for the betterment of all the beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, Mr. Samuel Ajibare Bamidele, the husband to the founder of the NGO in his white agbada appreciated everyone who graced the occasion as he specifically appreciated top leaders and every member of the Omega pro community, families, and friends.
The Highpoint of the birthday events was the sudden appearance of the gospel star, Evangelist Soji, and Tope Alabi to spice the event with the celebrant’s favourite song as unsuspectedly arranged by the husband, Mr. Ajibare Samuel Bamidele popularly known as Big Sam.
He, therefore, prayed that the joy of the Lord will continue to fill the lives of all attendees.
